Understanding the Requirements
Who Needs a U.S. Agent?
According to 14 CFR 3.303, individuals who have:
- A foreign address
- No U.S. physical address on file with the FAA
- Hold or are applying for certificates under parts 47, 61, 63, 65, 67, or 107
Critical Deadlines
- July 7, 2025: Deadline for current certificate holders
- April 2, 2025: Deadline for new applicants

Your U.S. agent must:
- Have a valid U.S. physical address (not a P.O. box)
- Receive FAA documents on your behalf
